Back to School Part II: Listening to Learn about Mathematics Equity and Social Justice

As you might have noticed, I wrote a back to school blog part 1, and then promptly stopped writing blog entries. This is because much of creative energy since September has gone into the creation, editing, and hosting of the TODOS Mathematics for ALL podcast. This incredibly short blog entry is just to let you know, and remind those of you who have been meaning to subscribe, that you can access the TODOS Podcast from Itunes, Spotify, and a variety of other services. You can also access it directly  from the TODOS Mathematics for ALL website @ todos-math.org/

But just to get you going, I have embedded the most recent episode below, and invite you to follow the podcast by clicking “follow me”

(not seeing the embedded media player? Click here instead https://todosmath.podomatic.com)

Stay tuned for a new episode featuring a conversation among myself, a high school mathematics teacher, and another mathematics educator about strategies and reflections on supporting multilingual learners in high school mathematics classes: navigating tensions between English Language development and mathematics content learning.
